Stornoway Communications Limited Partnership is wholly owned by Stornoway Investors Group the sole shareholder of Stornoway Productions Inc.
Stornoway Communications was founded in 2000 specifically to apply to the Canadian Radio-Television and Telecommunications Commission for digital specialty licenses and interactive web casting. To meet these newly expanded objectives, Stornoway has capitalized on its business strength, creative approach to programming, and its commitment to delivering a diversity of voices and points of view.
Stornoway Communications is also the Owner and Operator of ichannel which, along with bpm:tv, are both Canadian specialty channels launched nationally in September 2001.

Stornoway Productions

Stornoway Productions was founded in 1983 and has established a world-class reputation for producing in-depth documentaries on subjects before they become "news". Over the years, Stornoway has expanded its program focus to include drama and entertainment with Stornoway Enterprises. In either genre, the continuing strength of the company is its ability to present issues and stories in exciting and compelling formats, winning critical praise, excellent ratings and dozens of industry awards and nominations.
